MIKE SPIEL I was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. After graduating from Arlington High School, I attended St. Louis University where I earned a B.S. in Meteorology. While at St. Louis University I was the president of the Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. The professors at SLU nominated me to appear in the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
I own Continental Weather Service and have been forecasting the Fox Valley’s weather for more than 20 years. The last 10 years I have had the privilege of providing weather forecasts and broadcasts for the radio stations of Nelson Multimedia, Inc..
I have had the honor of doing the weather for the Clark Webber Show for a number of years. Clark introduced me to my wife, Tara, who is from Aurora, Illinois. We have two fabulous children, Zachary and Rachel.
